Nancito es un lindo y fresco pueblito rural de 230 amable companeros, campesinos y rancheros y sus peones, inclusive algunos familias Ngobe. Es fácile visitarlo, siendo fuera de la Comarca con una elevación de 1,500 pies, una altitud confortable encima del rango de los insectos que siempre molesta e las tierras baja.

La clima es freca, a veces con brisas fuertes, pero jamás frío.

 

La Linea de la Comarca Ngöbe Buglé es solamente bajo sus llanuras, menos de una caminata de una hour a Nibira , la primera comunidad Ngöbe a dentro de La Comarca Ngöbe Buglé. Es la Puerta al corazón de La Comarca Ngöbe Buglé y su Cordillera, algunos 3 días de caminar desde Nancito.

 

Vehículos de doble tracción pueden lograr a la Cordillera en menos que 3 horas desde Nancito y llevar la persona valiente a un punto que está a dentro de 2 días caminando hasta donde están los Petroglifos en la Cordillera Ngobe above Tole.

 

Por linea aero se puede estar en Panamá de USA en menos de 3 hours, el costo bajo de ida y vuelta de $300; después, para $60 se puede volar a David, algunos 60 minutos desde la Frontera con Costa Rica.

 

Para lograr Nancito desde David, hace un vuelta a la izquierda al Letrero de Petroglifos en Nacito, algunos 15 minutos después el Intersección San Félix con la Carretara Interamerican. Para dos dólares ($2.00), un bus local llevará usted a este punto en menos que una hora y media. En una hora se puede subir el camino hasta la Nancito caminando; o se puede subir arriba v’a un camino lindo en transporte local por menos que $1. Cerca es Las Lajas, una de las mejores playas que hay en Panamá. Es aisolado con arena blanca, solamente 40 miuntos de Nancito y 20 minutos del Ngöbe Centro Turístico Hub y Carrizal.

Nancito is a pretty, refreshing, rustic, village community of about 230 friendly country residents, farmers and ranchers and their hired help, including some Ngobe families. It is an easy to visit, off-Comarca site with 1,500 feet elevation, an altitude pleasantly above the habitat range of bothersome lowland insects. Climate is refreshingly cool, sometimes breezy, but never cold.

 

The First Nation Ngöbe Buglé Line is just down the hillslopes from Nancito, about an hour walk to Nibira , the first Ngobe Community across the creekbed below and inside the Ngöbe Buglé Reservation. It is the door to the principal trails that lead to the heart of the Ngobe Comarca and its Cordillera, some 3 days walk from Nancito.

4-wheel drive vehicles can mount the Cordillera within 3 hours drive of Nancito and take the hearty adventurer within a two days walk of the Ngobe Petroglyphs in the Cordillera above Tole.

 

By air you can be in Panama from the USA within 3 hours, round trip ticket costing as low as $300 with advance redservation in a timely season; then for $60 you can fly to David, which is but 60 minutes from the Costa Rica Border.

 

To reach Nancito coming from David, you travel about one hour towards Panama City on the Pan-American Highwayand then turn left at the Nancito Petroglyph sign, about 15 minutes after the San Felix intersection. For about two dollars ($2.00), a local bus from David will take you to this Nancito turn-off point within one and a half hours. In about an hour you can then walk up a steep climb on a paved road to Nancito's main store, or take a ten minutes ride in local transport on a nice paved road for less than $1. The principal Ngobe Sabanero Petroglyph site where the Ngobe Rosetta Stone is located is about two city blocks from the main Nancito Store. Hiring a Millenarian Guide, approved by Instituto Urabá, for $100 per day for a group up to 5 persons is recommended for Adventurous seekers who want to see more Millenarian sites. They may walk, ride horse or run about in 4 wheel drive with a Guide to off-road Petroglyph sites, 20 such sites within 5 miles of Nancito.

 

Horse rental is negotiable, as low as $3 per day; room and board is as low as $5 per overnight stay.

 

For Overnite Hospitality, within 20 minutes of Nancito is a modern camper site with a top-notch site for conferences and a quality restaurant facility. It is called Carrizal, about 1 mile from San Felix. Carrizal is listed on the Panama WEB Pages for Tourism.

 

Also within 20 minutes of Nancito, at the San Felix Crossing is another Door to the Ngöbe Buglé Reservation , the Ngöbe Millenarian Center for Arts & Fashions and Cultural Events with indoor overnight sleeping and cooking facilities and electricity, indigenous style, on premises, with modern Carrizal Cabins only 2 City Blocks away.

 

Las Lajas Beach is about 40 minutes from Nancito and 20 minutes from the Ngöbe Millenarian Center and Carrizal. It is one of Panama's best isolated beaches with long streches of white sands, river bed fishing and crabbing.

 

Local boat launches (small boats) can be rented to speed the hearty seekers on an island hopping adventure to discover more Ngöbe Sabanero Petroglyphs, the seashore and island areas nearby dotted with Ngöbe Sabanero Petroglyphs yet to be discovered and photographed.

 

More than 20 other principal Ngöbe Petroglyph sites with easy access by paved roads within three hours drive of Nancito, and more than 200 off-road sites with Ngöbe Sabanero Petroglyphs and huacas inside the Ngöbe-Buglé Reservation within a 3days walk after the drop off at the nearest road entry point, traveling by vehicles severely limited due to no roads or impassable roads. To see some 100 Ngöbe Sabanero Petroglyph sites near Nancito or on the Ngöbe Buglé Reservation, it is advisable to allow for a one week stay where local residents offer bed and breakfast accomodations at very modest prices, the most divine Native Milenaria Hospitality in this world awaiting you on the Ngöbe Buglé Reservation.

MILLENARIAN NOTE

 

The Most Ancient Relics of all America today are in ancient Ngöbe Sabanero lands. Some clovis points from Ngöbe huacas are dated 16,000 years before CHRIST (Dra. Reina Torres de Araúz) ; Ngöbe 4 Suns Calendars begin at 18,500 a.C. And, for every Ngöbe site discovered, there are 10 others not discovered on Royal Trails in the Ngöbe Sabanero Cordillera used by ancient Sabaneros under the Queen of Saba who worked the Mines of Solomon, according to Colombus; and intrepidly protected ever since by the descendants of  Ngöbe Quibian (Emperor), Ngöbe Prophet - King Urabá, Lord of the Earth for the Sons of the Sun ( Hijos de Sol ) of over 70 Solar Tribes of MesoamŽrica, who defeated the Columbus Brothers in every battle until he drove them and their Beastly Invaders back into the sea in the spring of 1503, cutting off the head of the Beast of Colombus and transforming it into a bestial rock well known in Kankintu, Ngöbe Buglé Reservation.
